Up early and ready to go, Jeff and I were awake by 7:30 and getting ready for class.
By lunch time he said he had about 15 pieces in the kiln and all I had done was 2 small copper leaves.
Please don't misunderstand, I learned a lot making those little babies, mainly that I don't use the hammer nearly hard enough! (Really?) You really got to put some "umph" in your swing.
After lunch we all moved on to bracelets, using anticlastic and synclastic techniques...this is what I came here for.
My biggest challenge, next to not swinging the hammer hard enough?
Not taking any photos...(Sorry, I'll have some tomorrow.)
We'll see what tomorrow brings!
