Ready!

Its been a long summer and the classes and ideas kept coming. 

My main goal was to change up the bases of my displays, as of today, mission accomplished. 

For the past two weeks my displays have been taking over the "gallery" room in our house. 

Now that the van is almost packed it's time to get the rest of the setup moving along. I've been picking up unusual pieces for festival season. 

This is a new design pendant along with a new display, scrap chunks of plastic.

Winter Park...here I come!

It must be Thursday!

Nothing like looking at your inventory the day before another show. 

I brought all my work into the studio to clean before the Melbourne Festival this weekend, low and behold, what was I thinking? 

Quick, another chain? 

 Maybe another bracelet?

Can I find a ring in the making?

Then I noticed that all my asymmetrical Medallions were gone! These I had to start from scratch...

Okay, done! Good thing I looked!

New Stuff

What? Really? (Ha!) 

I spent all day yesterday sitting in a (very casual) meeting room. It was a good workshop with the Art Business Institute but boy, the entire day reminded me of my old life.

  

(I now realize I am now much worse at sitting in a meeting than I have ever been.) 

The entire day was dedicated to the wholesale world. I've considered it, pondered, spent some money researching, in the end...I'm still not sure. 

As anyone would expect my work continues to evolve and my "toolbox" gets deeper. My goal in the past year has been to create a body of work, something I have wanted to do for a while. It slow going but so far I am happy with my direction... 

We will see where this all takes me!
